Emergency Appeal for an Orphanage Center in Salaji West Coast Region (WCR).

This is an orphanage center in Salaji West Coast Region, our youth volunteers recently visited the place to supply them with food as an act of kindness in this blessed of of Ramadan, and this is the condition they find the center in:
According to the person in charge, the orphanage comprises of 50 children, 43 are are boys and 7 are girls.
During a tour around the premises, our volunteers found out that their living condition is extremely bad, the mattresses they sleep on are very unhealthy and unfit for any humans and their bedrooms are barely unimaginably. The toilets are in a worst condition etc.
According to the host, the center is a tuition free institution and he is volunteering to serve humanity. He said the center use to have external support from donors but this is not the case anymore. They have not not receive any external supports from any individuals or organizations recently and thus, he uses his own poultry farm as a means of survival for the center.
He said the currently the center have 28 orphan boys and the rest of the boy are need children, 3 orphan girls and 4 needy girls whose relatives and guardians hardly visit the center to know the way about of their children.
He says that the criteria for the center to admit any children is that the parents or guardians should often visit the center to know the condition of their child, and attend meeting concerning the children affairs. According to him, some of the parents or guardians take a year before they visit the center.
He also started that, he is no longer accepting children due to the difficulties the center is currently facing which most of them are not hygiene for any inhabitants.
